Wheel of Chance {What Goes Around Comes Around}

Noting several suggestions before, I’ve decided to add Skidmore College, Macalester College and potentially DePauw University to my list. Please chance me for those as well. Also, I have removed Northwestern University from my list so please disregard that school. Thanks!!

the only problem is the SAT’s and maybe grades but you are still in 10% but I think your race (yes im sterotyping but its true in most cases) and as well as your good EC’s would easily make up for it at most colleges except maybe the ivies

I’d say good shot at all except Yale stanford and colubmia amherst swarthmore… dunno if i missed any

i am guessing in at dartmouth because you probably have good karma

<3

aight honestly i agree with all of the chances of strikeb4ck. You have great stats but the schools like stanford, yale, columbia, and chicago i think are very high reaches

Thanks for the chances!! For future reference: please do not chance me for Northwestern University as I am no longer applying there nor for University of the Virgin Islands as it is merely a safety. Instead, please chance me for Skidmore College and Macalester College as I will be applying there. Thank you!! Oh and btw, my essay is now a 2-pager detailing two ‘misadventures’ I’ve had that reveal a lot about my character and personality. Switched it because it was more light-hearted and contained a lot more of my voice in it.

Even though I said most of these schools are your reach, the fact that you are the founder of the student council could help tons so don’t mind these too much. Also, your essay should be shorter but I like your topic :)

current scores not bad but not too impressive. but your banking with your interests. very good ecs. your choice of major helps, i guess. also might be worth submitting supplements of your talents.

looks like you write well, so essays will boost your chances.

ACT? SAT retake? Subj Test? AP scores? if good, these might increase your chances.

good luck! (& thanks for chancing me too).

a lot of people are saying they don’t know about your chances at occidental… i’d think you have a great shot. the only potential setback might be your sat scores which are obviously above average for the country but not as stellar as all your other credentials. if you had better sat scores a lot of the schools on your list would go from high/low reaches to low reaches/matches, i think. gwu and vassar are matches. university of chicago and swarthmore are low to mid reaches but out of the schools you listed they are both very within your grasp.

Amherst College: mid reach
