Ok. So we took a quiz today and we had swap paper and grade it. It was a reading quiz and I read, understood the book, and everything! I was suppose to get 26/26 but the girl I swapped paper with gave me a 21/26! I was like "You only gave me one point for this question & this question when, it's worth 2 points each" and she was like "Oh I forgot I didn't know this question was worth 2 points" & even though she fixed it, it only brought my score up two points more -____- I would've pointed out some more but she was whispering to her friends and saying something rude....So I got a bad score because IGNORANT people. I didn't want to return it back to her again and be like "Oh this one you graded it wrong too" I would've gave it to the teacher... But I didn't want her to be in trouble for grading it wrong. But ughh Seriously! Uggggh

Okay. What’s the question?

“we had swap paper”
“because IGNORANT people”

Just 2 of many mistakes.

this happens to me often, i would just ask the teacher to look over it.
I wouldn’t let your grade suffer because someone is too dumb to grade it correctly

lol, paper swapping, is this 4th grade again?

It’s no big deal. Just talk to the teacher after class and tell her she made a mistake. She won’t be in trouble for grading it wrong if it was an accident.

can’t you just tell the teacher? he/she can just check over it and give you the right grade

@dfree124:
In about half of my high school classes, we’ve done the same thing to grade homework/quizzes.

@dfree124: Nothing wrong with swapping papers for grading if it’s multiple choice or fill-in-the-blank. We do it on our history quizzes after every chapter and it really makes a great end-of-chapter review because our teacher explains every answer.

Just bring the quiz up to the teacher. S/he won’t get mad at the student for grading it wrong, s/he will realize it was a simple mistake.

Yes, I agree. Just go to the teacher and tell him or her to recheck it, so you can get the points back. I don’t think the girl will get in trouble for accidently grading your quiz wrong.

Ok I would go and tell my teacher about the mistakes but she specifically told us before that it’s not her fault if someone grades it wrong & it’s our responsibility to know how to grade. So going up to her will just cause trouble. I’ll just let my grade suffer…

& sorry if I have a lot of mistakes & sucj I’m using my phone/app.

Your teacher gets upset if someone grades wrong? No offense but your teacher sounds like a jerk, and it’s really irresponsible of her to base grades completely off of something she has no control over.

Either way, I’d go up to the teacher and tell her. Even if the teacher does get mad, it’s not worth having your grade suffer. From now on, if possible, try and swap papers with someone who will cooperate more with you. :)

here we go again…

I’m with Rob. and ignore schoolblows. (I’m a bit surprised someone with that username is on CC of all places o.0)
