Would it still be better to show up in Business professional?

I would advise listening to what your recruiter wants you to do. If you want to dress a bit more professional, wear slacks and a button-up shirt instead of khakis and a polo.

While it's a nice gesture to dress up, I think it would send a bad sign if your dress goes against what you were specifically advised.

Thank you a lot for the suggestion~ I was very unsure because...well...it wasn't something that was advised. To quote the original sentence" if you have classes and such, you don't have to dress in a suit, wear whatevr you wear to your classes, blue jeans or something". Would that consititute an advise towards one way or another?

sounds like it's an informal meeting...but try not to look like you just rolled out of bed (wrinkled tee, wrinkled jeans, flipflops). maybe a nice shirt, jeans, and shoes. closed toes. :D

Listen to the Ultimate Preppy Handbook. Always be underdressed or overdressed.

Thank you all~~ I went with a business casual outfit, and I think the interview went quite well~~ :P
