When and What to Retake?

These are more scores:

SAT II: Math II - 720 (June 2010), 700 (October 2010), Literature - 640 (October 2010)
SAT I: 2230 (November 2010), 730 Math, 730 CR, 770 Writing, 12 Essay
ACT: 34 (December 2010), 33 English, 35 Math, 33 Reading, 33 Science, 10 Essay

I don't plan on taking Lit again. I'm thinking about doing Spanish Reading and Chemistry in May, since I'm in AP Spanish and AP Chemistry. Thoughts?

I'm aiming for Yale, Princeton, Columbia, Penn (with Legacy).

Are you a senior? If so I don’t understand the May date for taking another round of SAT II tests since college admission decisions would have been made by then.

I’ll assume that you’re a junior. If so then for the AP Spanish take the AP exam and get a 5. There is little point to also take the SAT II. The same is also the case for the AP Chemistry, although here an argument can be made for also taking the SAT II exam. In any case a 5 on the AP exam would be more convincing then a score in the 700s for the SAT II.

I’m a junior… I need to have two strong 700s on subject tests.
