When applying to a UC...

...Is it required to submit transcripts from ALL community colleges you've attended? Last year I decided to attend a different CC after a brief stint at another one where I didn't do so hot since I wasn't taking school seriously.

Fortunately I'm re-taking courses at the new CC that I fudged at the previous one, but I'm just curious.

Yes, you must submit ALL transcripts from ALL universities/colleges you’ve ever attended. Don’t ruin your chances by lying. They will find out and you will be bummed. Don’t worry about how you messed up in the past, just work on doing as well as you can right now.

Oh dang, didn’t realize it was seen as lying by omission. Of course that wouldn’t be my intent, but personally it feels pointless to submit transcripts with classes I screwed around in while attending a different college and doing a complete 180 with my academics. At least they’ll see that I’ve changed; just some extra work in obtaining transcripts from my other college I guess.

Thanks for your help! :)

No problem! I know it sucks, I’ve had a similar situation but since you’re retaking the courses it shouldn’t affect your admissions. Good luck with everything :)
