I know they are mailing the decisions starting yesterday, but when do they post them online.

3 to 4 days after the letter goes out

those who finds out earlier than us should tell us when it gets posted online. :)

the decisions will be posted online after four days, not three days.

Lady:GOOD AFTERNOON, CARNEGIE MELLON OFFICE OF ADMISSIONS. CAN I
HELP YOU?
Me:Yes. could you tell me when the decision will be posted online
Lady: THE DECISION WILL BE POSTED ON LINE 4 DAYS AFTER THE LETTER HAS BEEN MAILED OUT THROUGH REGULAR MAIL.
Me: so four days from the postmakr date, not three days?
Lady: YES, THAT'S CORRECT. 4 DAYS.
Me: thank you very much
Lady: OKAY THANK YOU BYE BYE

My son got his letter yesterday, 3-23; we live in Michigan and it was dated 3-22, but had no post-mark when actually mailed. Hope that helps.

Stoneterrain- Many people have called admissions and have gotten different responses. Don't trust what they say so much. I got in ED and my decision was posted online 3 days after the postmark date.

A CMU day is less than a regular day.

The CMU day can range from 10 hours to 48 hours.

Just called, they said my letter was mailed a few days ago. Is that a good sign. Also she said online decisions may be available tommarrow, but she's not sure if you can access it on the weekend.

I recieved an e-mail at 10:34 today inviting me to an admitted students chat.

Did you recieve a letter yet. Also has anyone recieved a rejection letter yet, or have they all been acceptances so far. I should recieve mine tommarrow if not Monday. Hoping that these letters that go out earlier are all acceptances.

Mine won't be sent out until Tuesday so I won't receive it until Wednesday. If it's another thin letter like it was back in December, I'm going to be mad :( The lady said that they will be sending them out for 3 weeks, so what if it's like Acceptances first week, Waitlisted second week, then Rejections third week...

And I just relizede that the e-mail I recieved was from Syracuse, not CMU.

billhpike...u almost gave me a heart attack when u said it was cmu
