When are EA decisions mailed?

Has anyone that applied EA received their decision yet?

Anxiously awaiting the mail everyday. No news today. Has anyone else heard?

DS is anxiously awaiting the news too! Supposedly they are to hear late January. Will check today's mail hoping for a positive response. Good luck to all waiting.

The Big RED envelop arrived today. So excited. Have to wait until 5 pm until she gets home to open it. Looks too big to be a rejection. Good luck to those waiting. I took my D to 20 plus schools, but my husband took her to Dickinson. They both loved it. Are there any MOM's out there who visited and can give me a MOM's perspective??? Thanks!

Congratulations on that big red envelope!! My daughter is a freshman at Dickinson, so if you have any questions you can email me.

It was so hard waiting all afternoon but son finally arriived home and yes it was an accaeptance!!! Applicantmum, I'm sure hers is too! We visited this summer and he fell in love with it. It just felt right for him. Any info amethyst213 has from her freshman daughter would be appreciated.

Congratulations to you both! Dickinson is a wonderful school. The campus is so friendly (students, faculty, staff, and local folks). My daughter is finding the academics very challenging - she's a neuroscience major. She is participating in some extracurriculars too (habitat for humanity and ballet), and had a great first semester(Dean's list). The town is small and quiet, but for $5 per semester you can buy a weekend shuttle pass which takes you to a few malls and shopping areas in Harrisburg. Some of the dorms aren't the greatest, but the food is quite good. If you have any specific questions, feel free to email me - I fixed my profile, somehow email wasn't enabled but it is now.

Now I really regret. I should have applied under the early action so that this waiting torture could be avoided.

Just want someone to tell me when the ED II results will be released.

Any reply will be highly appreciated. Thanks!

GPA 3.9
SAT 1350
SAT II Math2c 800 Physics 800 Writing 690
EC: a lot..
still, do not have any confidence..

Good luck with your ED II decision. I know the feeling of the wait for the envelope. Hopefully it will come soon. Please post when you get the decision.

You're in superharry.

Superharry--my daughter got in under rolling admissions with a lower GPA, higher SAT's and about the same SATII's---She also got the 12,000 a year merit scholarship.

Dear Sportymom, Socko973 and Sligokier, thanks for all your support! Yes, it is an acceptance!

Congrats! :)

Congratulations Superharry!!! It must feel good, now you can enjoy the rest of senior without the anxiety that goes with the waiting.

Yes, congratulations to all of you on your ED acceptances!! My daughter did regular decision, and after the interview/campus visit in Feb when we found out how few spots were left after 2 ED rounds, it was agony waiting until April! I'm sure you will be very happy at Dickinson.

I am from Nepal. I have also applied for ED2 in Dickinson college. I think it should be out today. But because they will have to post the result to me by post mail, it will take time. I am extremely curious.

bump......
