When Are Housing Updates?

Jennings is filling up quick (male), hopefully there is still space June 1!

Has anyone heard that Broward is being renovated? Can anyone confirm/have more details on this?

When I went there on a tour a month or two ago, one of the ladies working at the student union center said Broward was getting renovated. She mentioned a few things but I can only remember that it included a new paint job. Pretty reliable source, I think.

mike2222, My S lived in Broward this past year. His room, and all others on the side toward Rawlings (west side?) had been redone. He had new tile flooring, new windows and moldings, new paint (same A/C units but S said they worked really well ). The rooms on the other side (east?) of Broward are to be redone this summer like those in his wing. I don’t think anything other than paint and possibly flooring was done to the hallways. I know someone said that Jennings had been renovated recently too—2009/2010? Yulee done before that on this side of campus.

As of today, there are
Beaty Towers Area 102 61
Broward Area 202 390
Graham Area 188 258
Hume Residence Area 112 95
Jennings Area 16 97
Lakeside Area 52 6
Murphree Area 85 95
Springs Area 15 3
Tolbert Area 134 230

My choice is going down slow… awesome. June 2nd come quicker!

Thanks for posting Zap!

Oh dear, I hope there’s still room in my choice come June 10. Now I’m going to be anxiously checking this page every day for two weeks.

Sorry for the last ditch effort to find a roommate, but here it goes…

I really need to find a male roommate for East Hall! Someone with a date before June 10! I’m going to put this out there… RoomBug SUCKS! LOL

Ahh, the anxiety here is going to kill me.

I hope theres still a place for me mines July something second to last day.

Anybody know how much space is left in Hume as of right now?

As of 9:10 pm, Hume has 104 male and 91 female spots available.

And now the panic sets in… My housing date sucks, especially since I see now that Beaty is running out of space quickly! :/

Why is Beaty going down so quickly :(? Someone reserve a spot for me haha.

^Still looking for a roomie for Beaty Towers for Fall if anyone is interested lol

Roombug has not been working out too well for me XD

^When is your housing date?

I know, haha. Mostly girls use Roombug :.

May 24th, yeah I already have my room, just waiting for a nice roomie, there are two spaces left in our room :)

After the first half an hour after 4:00, how much do the numbers change, or does it generally become calm after that?

While I’m here, is anyone looking for a Lakeside roommate and has already selected, or will select prior to June 10?

Oh, one other question if anyone knows. Are the dates listed on the [room date selection page](<a href=“http://www.housing.ufl.edu/liveon/roomselection.php"]room”>http://www.housing.ufl.edu/liveon/roomselection.php) the only dates, or are there dates between them?On the Roombug discussion boards, I saw someone who said her date was June 8th, but the only listed dates are the 6th and the 10th; Are the ones listed the only dates, or are new people selecting every day?

JKidrauhl, do you know who your other roomate is? And are you two in the same room or side by side in the apartment? Or does it not matter which of the 2 rooms in the apartment you take?

Well I don’t know who the other person is and I haven’t spoken to him yet, but he did take the other bedroom in the apartment (Bedroom A) while I just took Bedroom B. I’m not sure if it matters a whole lot who has what room but there are two open spaces in the room as of yesterday, one in his room and one in mine. Hope that helped
