What a great school! Does anyone know when they start letting applicants know? Thanks!

I think it must be soon, as I have receieved two emails and a rather large mailing in the past week or two, and my daughter received a link to the my.slc website. No accpetance yet, but I would think they wouldn’t have gone to all that bother otherwise!

So have we; do you think they were sending everyone the emails and literature?

SLC website says that they notify in early April, has anyone heard anything different?

I would think the emails and literature are a sign of acceptance – otherwise why wait so late in the game, and send such substantial mailings? (Ours was plastic-enclosed, with extensive brochure inside, when we’ve obviously already applied.)

@my3daughters - the question is whether or not “everyone” got the mailing & emails. Perhaps some others will post on this board.

I would guess not, but we’ll have to see if anyone else confirms that. I would think those accepted got the emails and literature, and maybe they are still deciding others, who might not have received those communications.

We have received email and literature too, but I feel like D has received similar materials from other schools she’s applied as well. I checked threads from past years and it looks like Sarah Lawrence notifies RD applicants right at the end of March/beginning of April, nothing about any early writes or likely letters… looking forward to an end to the waiting!

I’m getting really impatient now lol.

I received my big acceptance envelope by mail yesterday! Good luck to all of you

My daughter received the envelope today. We are in shock, because we were always told that Sarah Lawrence gave no mereit aid unless it was tied to need. Our EFC is over $75,000, and yet my daughter received $21,000 in a Dean’s Scholarship. Some hard decisions ahead, as my daughter has wanted to be in NYC since she was in 9th grade, and Fordham at Lincoln Center was her first choice. Much less merit aid, though, even they are known to give pretty good aid.

My3Daughters what state?

Do you think the plastic enclosed brochure is a sign of admission? I also received it but haven’t heard back.

We’re in NJ.

Yes I think recent mailings and emails are a sign of being admitted, because why in the world would a school waste energy and resources communicating this late in the game with people that only might be admitted ? They are no longer trying to recruit applicants – only trying to get those who have met the criteria to choose Sarah Lawrence. It’s only my guess, but, yes, I’d say receiving that expensive looking mailing would be a good sign.

Have any internationals received decisions? Does anyone know if those come by mail or email?

My D got her acceptance yesterday! So exciting…good luck to all!!

Big, fat envelope came FedEx this morning. We’re thrilled!

Is everyone going to the Accepted Students Day?

For those who were admitted, what area are you located in? Did you/your kids get a good scholarship? Because that’s early for an acceptance letter from SLC

My daughter received the Dean’s Scholarship, and we are an hour away in NJ.

I haven’t heard yet on Long Island, NY.
