When Are the University of Georgia Admission Decisions Released?

If you opened my previous thread, sorry!

I was wondering if anybody could tell me if UGA's admission decisions are really released on April 1st? It seems very late compared to other colleges. If anyone had been accepted in the earlier years, could you tell me when they are usually Released.

Thanks

Ah, much better.

Last year RD decisions were released on-line late in the day on 3/27.

Best of luck to you.

Thanks, New to this whole blog thing

ya i applied regular decision still waiting to hear back. I heard that they release them periodically over the next month though?

yeah, i actually heard that some people were accepted last week or something? haha.

My son was accepted last Friday…Pre Business

They have two release dates.

The end of February is for deferred EA students and students who did not apply EA but meet the EA requirements (high GPA and SAT/ACT scores).

The end of March is when all other RD applicants should hear.

So, if I was deferred and did not hear at the end of February will I still possibly hear at the end of March? How can I find out?

Mid December - Early Decision

Late Feb- Those who did not apply EA, but meet EA standards(3.85+ gpa, very high SAT scores, Rigorous courseload)

Late March- Any other Regular Decision…It is not rolling, but it’s on 1 day.

What about the deferred students in late March? I was deferred and have not heard anything. So , are you saying because I did not hear late Feb that I will not get in?
