When are UT Austin acceptance letters sent out?

I recently got automatically accepted to UT Austin, haven’t gotten accepted to my major yet (Biology) and I was wondering when acceptance letters are usually sent out. Do I have to wait until I get accepted into my major?

Acceptance letters go out when UT makes a decision about your major.

As far as postings here go, no one has gotten a letter- not even auto admissions. The auto admit kids have a message on my status telling them they qualify and that UT is not sure about their major yet.
