When are you contacted for an interview? Are you suppose to schedule one yourself, or do they call/mail/e-mail you?

chill. they will email you. and if you start having nervous convulsions then find NorthstarMom or Byerly

Chill? Umm... yeah watch me just go into hysterics (note the dripping sarcasm).

It was a legitimate question... or perhaps you're just too dumb to catch the real tone of the post? I wouldn't doubt it.

My son had the same question and called Harvard just before Christmas. They said they would start contacting RD applicants about interviews right after the holidays. He's going to wait a week and then call again if he hasn't heard anything.

give them some time. the deadline just passed and right now they are busy processing. in due time (ie a week or two) they will pass the info onto the alumn committees. dont worry, Harvard out of all places will probably not screw this up. they place high emphasis on these interviews.

We just yesterday had 8 RD names sent to us by Harvard to schedule alumni interviews, and I think a few more may be coming. Remember, they are still receiving applications postmarked by Jan 1, so this is about is quickly as the process could start.

Chances are you'll be contacted by a member of the local or regional Schools & Scholarship Committee shortly. I think the goal is to schedule and complete interviews prior to Feb. 1.
