when can regular decision applicants expect to hear back?

<p>Is there a certain date we'll hear by? Does NYU send out acceptances/rejections in waves or all at once? When did everybody hear last year?</p>

Freshman Regular Decision: April 1st</p>

<p>Response Deadlines (when we need to hear back from you)
Freshman Regular Decision: May 1st</p>

<p>(Of note…a few upper tier/honors students have had their acceptance offer “leaked” a bit early (week ish? two?) due to some mailings that went out early, inviting them to events though they hadn’t received their official acceptance.)</p>
