I am an incoming-transfer student and my registration status still shows "not registered". Therefore, I was wondering if we can use the Tang Center at no charge at all.

Thanks

Check here and see if your question is answered adequately:

[University Health Services - About UHS Tang Center](http://uhs.berkeley.edu/home/about/eligibility.shtml)

If not, call UHS/Tang and ask them directly.

I BELIEVE the link says “new students” get service 30 days before, which would be long before most people are even assessed fees, much less be enrolled in all their classes and have paid for everything. I would be inclined to say “you can use services now,” but you might want to call and double-check.

Your insurance likely starts the first day of the new semester, which is usually earlier than the first day of classes. Call Tang… they will know immediately.
