When can you fill out your housing application?

I was admitted and already put my $200 down. When is the housing application available? Just curious when I need to do that. Any other info on the housing app would also be nice! Thanks.

Early April- August
Application availablity: Beginning in early April, application emails are sent weekly, as enrollment deposits are received. If you have not received an email within three weeks of submitting your enrollment deposit and it is after April 1, contact the Housing Information Office at housing@umich.edu or 734-763-3164.

May 7
Deadline for submitting applications for the first round of housing assignments. Applications received by 11:59 pm EDT are assigned a random number to determine the order of housing assignments. Submitting an application for this round does not guarantee that you will receive your preferred rate group or campus neighborhood. Applications received after this date are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.

June - August
Residence hall contracts are available online for those assigned by mid-June. A message will be sent to your University email account when the contract is ready for your review. Contracts must be submitted online within three days from the date of contract notification. Assignment information is not provided over the telephone.

First Week of August
Mailing address, roommate notification, approximate room dimensions and move-in information (including your unloading permit and driving directions) are available online.

August 31
Fall term room and board payment is due.

Move-In Week
The undergraduate move-in schedule is staggered to avoid congestion during the move-in period. Most newly admitted students will move in August 28th and August 29th. Your contract will indicate your exact move-in date.
