<p>They make it very clear when the deadlines are but when can you START applying? I am especially interested in early Action</p>
<p>I know some people who have sent their applications in as early as the summer after their junior year but you should probably wait until you start your senior year because you need to send your transcripts and your counselor recommendation form. Although teacher recs. are optional, I HIGHLY recommend that you send some.</p>
<p>I think the applications are opened in late August or September. UM had a pretty easy, quick, and self explanatory application with a good array of essay choices. I would not worry too much about UM's application as it can be completed fairly quickly and you do not have to start it the second it comes out.</p>
