<p>I'm getting nervous...</p>
<p>I think waitlist notification is on a rolling basis starting 5/15. From what I hear, the process can go on even into the summer. Does anyone know for sure that Georgetown is even going to the waitlist this year?</p>
<p>This frustrated me:
Some girl in my school, who to be honest, doesn't get that great of grades, and who doesn't do too much outside of school, just got off the waitlist at Georgetown NHS a few days ago (she DID have legacy, however). I know the acceptance rates off the waitlist are highesr for NHS than the college, but still. It was just frustrating to see.<br>
I wish the best of luck to my fellow waitlisters... and hopefully, the above won't be a repeating pattern. :(</p>

<p>I THINK they might have emailed or called her. I'm not sure though, as she is not one of my friends/really at all connected to any of my friends. And my friends told me this yesterday, and said it had happened either the day before (as in May 3rd) or the day before that (May 2nd). My guess would be closer to May 3rd.

<p>Me neither. I mean.. that's only 2 days after the May 1st deadline. But this was second-hand news (meaning friends told me, and they probably heard from one of this girl's friends)... so I don't know. I mean, I don't know how "I got off the waitlist" could be misconstrued... but you never know.
Hope that didn't scare anyone's hopes/ I hope the rest of these waitlist acceptances come out soon.</p>
