Just curious!

Its at least a few months after we find out. Specifically, my Duke interviewer said that she looked forward to seeing if I was accepted but he wouldn’t receive anything until the fall. I could have misunderstood, but my impression was that it would be a while. I actually offered to email him when I found out (normally I wouldn’t even think about it but he was extremely nice and I felt like he genuinely cared, so I’m making an exception) and he thanked me.

Where we live the Duke alumni club hosts a party every year after decisions come out and before May 1 deposit deadline. Many of the interviewers are at the party and they give the profros Duke swag (t-shirts, book bags, water bottles, etc.). So around here the interviewers must be notified at the same time or shortly after the students.

^ Yeah, our city seems to be the same. My interviewers for multiple schools told me straight up that they will know around the same time I do.

cool so you guys dont think they would know by now?

This is wrong. Last year, interviewers found out about a week after applicants learned of their status. I’d imagine it would be the same this year. It is definitely NOT before you find out, though.

Edit: Interviewers are notified about all applicants, regardless of acceptance/rejection/waitlist. I just wanted to clear that up since in another thread somebody thought that perhaps interviewers just knew about those accepted. Interviewers will (understandably) never contact you if you are waitlisted or rejected, however.
