5th grade.. i wanted to go to Yale.. wanted to be a lawyer at the time and was facinated by Connecticut... but that all pretty much changed in 7th grade, when i decided i wanted to do something in the media (magazine, newspaper). Started reseraching for schools with my major in sophomore year.. realized i didnt want to go to yale. then found my dream school at the beginning of Jr. year, applied early decision to it, and got in!

lol wen i was in 5th grade is wore that i would go to princeton

Last year (freshman year) when my older sister was applying to colleges and got into Duke ED. Then I thought "Wouldn't it be nice if I could do that..." Started researching schools last summer, but have not found one I'm really attracted too.

in 8th grade when i was forced to take the SAT. but then, i was a confused lost soul who didn't even know the 8 ivy league universities :P

Since grade school because my brother and sister were in high school at that time and saw them go through the process. My family went with my sister to the Art Institute of Illinois open house and I have wanted to go there for the longest. When I got to high school I realized I need to be more realistic as for career options. Then I got the idea of joining the navy sophomore year out of the blue but I've worked so hard in school, not to sound stuck up, I felt I deserved better. So I just happened to find out about the naval academy in an encyclopedia.

College had been on my mind for freshman and soph. year, but it really hit me when I was filling out an application for a summer program (this year).

When I heard you could go away from home....

In 2nd grade I printed a list of the top colleges in the nation. I circled #1 (Harvard) and told my dad I was going there after high school. Right next to Harvard was the tutition price...I'm sure he appreciated that one. :)
