My daughter applied to Kelley business school Direct admission(SAT 1480 and wgpa 4.39) last week. She got admission notice through the website and an email stating that wait for an red envelope in snail mail. Then two days ago we got an email saying that apply for SSA scholarship. Today we got snail mail (in white envelope) saying that she is admitted in Hutton Honor college. There is no scholarship detail in the envelope. We thought that she would get 5-6K hutton scholarship. We are so disappointed. We never got any letter regarding deans scholarship. We did not get the red envelope yet.
We are wondering when we will get scholarship letters. I know that she may get deans scholarship(8-11k), Hutton 6k and SSA(2-3k).
Does the scholarship for hutton 5-6k come with Hutton acceptance snail mail?
My daughter received the Dean Scholarship info in the snail mail. And info on Hutton Honors school via email with SSA info. She has since applied for her IU.One account to finish the SSA online
Essentially same as above. Dean’s scholarship in red admission envelope in snail mail. Hutton admission separately by snail mail. Followed by Kelley direct admit by email and snail mail. Hutton scholarship and any other scholarships only determined after SSA to my knowledge. Good luck!
@mp201819 - just as an FYI- 2 years ago my son’s Hutton scholarship was his SSA scholarship. (With stats higher than your daughter’s). The Dean’s will come in the big red envelope and after applying for the SSA- there could be additional funds coming to her.
My daughter got email saying shes admitted on 10/21. The red envelope is till not here. But the sutton direct admit came couple of days back. Is it unusual that red envelope is not ihere ?
The office of admission administers the Provost and Deans scholarships. Those came shortly after the acceptance packet. The SSA awards won’t come out until the first quarter which includes the honors college scholarships.
