<p>July 11th. First day system was up and running.</p>
<p>Well, son didn't get his app in until just under the wire. We paid the housing deposit as soon as we were able to online.</p>
<p>Our only hope is that all the other 11/1 applicants waited until they got the letter from housing to do the app. It came a few days later.</p>
<p>If he's not on-campus, he'll be at UCF. It's a deal-breaker for us. We've had an off-campus freshman at UF before. It didn't end well.</p>
