I applied in late November but people have been getting theirs even though they applied later than I did.
Same here. Applied on 10/30 and haven’t heard anything.
My son applied on 11/15 and hasn’t heard anything. He applied for school of engineering. I think some of the other schools have sent out decisions.
It’s rolling admissions. My son applied 10-14 and was admitted on 11-16 to business. I’m sure some schools (engineering) are very selective and would take longer. If it’s been more than six weeks I would not see a problem with emailing the admission office. Make sure you check the CA to see if all documents have been received. The letter he received almost went in the trash because it was in a glossy 8X10 envelope that looked like junk mail. It was not the proverbial “thick letter.” I don’t know if he’s ever checked his CIS.
UPDATE: I just got mine in the mail. Accepted into the college of humanities and sciences.
I applied mid October and just got my acceptance letter for VCUarts on Friday (about 12 weeks after!) Good luck to everyone else who applied! 
So with early admissions did you find out before the New Year in general? I applied early admissions on Nov 12 and still haven’t heard back yet. I’ve noticed that engeneering and arts majors are taking longer to come back.
