When do admission decisions come out?

So I applied in November & haven't heard anything from any of the CSUs since then. I also literally can't find anywhere on the site where it says when admission decisions come out? So does anyone know? =] Cuz I know some ppl have already gotten acceptances & stuff already. sigh xD

Hey, i applied to CSU LA Fall 2010, on the last october 1.

please check the below.

[When do you recieve UC/CSU acceptance letters? - Yahoo! Answers](http://■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■/question/index?qid=20091125141247AAoXPBZ)

I’m an graduate-international applicant for M.M

Good luck

I applied awhile ago n i just got an email saying that since im from out of state that i have to be on a waitlist or something like that…something about giving priority to instate people so yea

got admitted a while back, but i got wait listed because i didn’t live or attend school in the csu service area…i wish it was instate people getting priority.

@musica7hans wow thanks so much! i’ve been looking everywhere & they literally don’t say anything about when the decisions come out. so sankyu. =]
@omar10 @w00tness that sucks. i don’t even live in the same continent lol. but if i’m a cali resident do you think i’d get priority?

Not really. First priority goes to people living significantly close or attend a school near that specific campus.

@w00tness so you’d have to be from LA? cuz i live in vietnam atm but i put my permanent address as santa barbara…
that’s odd that they prioritize by where you live though, i thought grades & whatnot would play a bigger role in it =/ oh well

I agree to what @w00tness mentioned.
As an international stuent,
deifinitely,
we know and it’s clear that
california residents have got the priority about being accepted by the university.
cuz, it is a state school.
the univ. is for the residents of California.

it’s not a private college like NYU.
frankly,
i’m afraid the possibility my application would be unsuccessful as well.
cuz, i’m an international applicant.
I’m aware of that california is under the downturn.
Many students in the states choose studying, instead of getting their job.

I applied only to CSU LA due to my financial problem.
must !!! i must be accepted…

most of u guys are callifornian residents and american.
I think you don’t need to worry.
The applicant who should worry is me!!
You guys have got ‘the priority’.

Anyway…

Guys, good luck!!

@musica7hans, we, as in californian, are not exactly in a “worry-free” situation.

What I was trying to imply in my other post was that if you live in the CSULA service area, then that person would get priority over people out side this area. So priority would go something like this (but not exactly): 1) CSULA Service area residents, 2) California residents outside service area, 3) american residents, 4) international. I attend school in Pomona, CA…so I would be in Cal Poly Pomona’s service area. But I would be out of CSULA service area.

Almost all the CSU schools are doing something like this due to the state budget problem.

@kwonlita grades and SAT/ACT scores still plays a big role in admission still.

I got accepted 3 weeks ago, sent and email and a letter in the mail. I live in state but not in the area.

@Pscholler well that gives me hope =] but i still haven’t heard anything from then
do you know when they stop sending out decisions?

I don’t know but I decided I’m not going to this school.

@Pscholler how come?

I’m looking for the college experience and from what I’ve been told this school definitely doesn’t offer it. Also it is in East LA. It was always just a meager back up school.

I got accepted in early January.

I just got my response back just now. Didn’t get in, but I’m not too upset, didn’t want to go there much anyway. Just now nervous about San Diego.

@KrishnaLynn oh wow you heard quite late, i’m still waiting on them
yeah no offense to the people who go there but it doesn’t look that amazing, you’ll be better off somewhere else =]
