<p>Just curious, as a very competitive friend of my sons, whose Mom, frankly is a bit much for me applied ED to Dartmouth. All our school heard was how her darling daughter was a "shoe in" so here i am hearing of all these acceptances ED, and she has not said peep. My son said the daughter keeps saying she hasnt' heard yet but he found out that someone else in another neighboring school got in, so curiousity is getting to me, when did these decisions go out and are they all out at this point?</p>
<p>Nobody on this forum has reported that they've been notified, and basically, everyone will be notified at the same time. Dartmouth will send an email that reveals the date/time for decisions to be available online. The possible exception would be a recruited athlete who received a likely letter before this, but that's still not an official decision, technically. </p>
<p>Just FYI, the reason for the big buzz on the Dartmouth ED thread right now is that last year's ED applicants were notified a week earlier than the official response date of 12/15, which would have been Friday, 12/8, by 3 p.m. Same thing in 2005. So you can imagine the stress it's causing everyone that Dartmouth is not keeping up with that pace in this year's notification. People were hoping to be put out of their misery this afternoon, but it's not happening! A lot of deep breathing - or other stress relief - is going on right now :)</p>
