When do classes normally begin?

<p>Hi! I am attending Alabama as a freshman for the fall of 2015! I was curious as to when classes usually begin? My family is trying to plan a cruise in August and I wouldn’t want it to interfere with moving in or anything. I’m also planning to rush and thought that usually happened mid August. Thank you! <p>No August cruise if you are going to rush! You can find the class schedule on Bama website. The Saturday before classes start is bid day. Recruitment starts the week before - so very early August. </p>
