are admissions and financial aid processes simultaneously? or the financial aid
review doesn't start until after the applicant has been admitted?

well, on december 1 st, i got an email from my ed school saying that they
have started reviewing my financial aid request and that a document is missing

so, i was wondering, does this mean that my application is being looked upon
favorably?? i know that this probably means nothing but on the other hand,
i can't stop thinking that this is actually a good sign.

Priority deadline: the last date you can file & be assured of the best possible aid package you are eligible to receive. If you file by the priority date & complete any requirements you may be asked to provide, you will get the most aid you “could” get.

We have students at the school where I work who “could” have received a lot of grant aid but only received the Pell … because they filed after the priority date. Everything was gone. We award to those who file on time, but then we only award money until the fund is depleted.

In addition, priority filing assures your aid will be processed & ready on time.

What more comments do you want? The only people who know for sure about your particular case are the Admissions and Financial Aid offices at Dartmouth. No one on this board knows. Relax. :)
