Does anyone know when decisions get mailed? I think I read in Swat archives that for last year's ED kids, the letters got mailed on Dec. 11... But this year the eleventh is a Saturday, and since there's no mail service on Sundays, do you think they'll just mail everything on the 13th? I'm soo exciiiited.

Someone on the LJ community said that they'd called the office, and they said "decisions arrive on the 15th"...so I guess they will mail the 13th or so.

I wish they'd hurry up, though!

Sounds good.

A lot of schools are getting decisions already....maybe we will be surprised on the 13th :)

On the LJ community, someone posted that decisions have been mailed out.
hopefully we're have some prefrosh in a few days. aww prefrosh...how innocent

Sounds like somebody in Philadelphia received his letter today. That means Swat must have mailed yesterday -- Friday the 11th.

Good luck, everybody!

Wow. I was hoping D would hear soon but the fact that she'll know on Monday, perhaps, is still a bit of a shock. Thanks for the info and for the good-luck wish.

I'm so terrified. It's even worse when people around you are receiving news from UPenn, etc. I'd rather know that I'm rejected right now than not know. My nails no longer have to be cut, thanks to a horrible habit due to nervousness... I will return to trying to focus on my upcoming exams....

I wish Kentucky were a few states closer to the East Coast.
Apparently, the envelopes say "This is the Big One," but only contain one sheet of paper...
This Sunday should be declared a day for mail delivery. Yep.

I am very, very nervous. One of my best friends just got into Haverford today; it has always been a dream of ours to go to school near each other. Good luck everyone! :) Hopefully some of us will be here with good news come next week!

Just think. It won't be long before Sharples is over-run with Ride the Tide visitors.....

It would be so weird (yet wonderful...hint!) if I ended up at Swarthmore b/c my best friend grew up in Philadelphia -- she's waiting to hear about her ED decision from Macalester (I lived in the Twin Cities 'til I was 7). Congrats to your friend, tkdgal, that's awesome. And good luck to all....

Haha, I recognize Narwhal's comment from the LJ community.

I wonder how much overlap the two communities (CC, LJ) have.

Are you hamsterwheel, perchance?

I'm not sure how many people actually post on both, but I'm sure there are a lot of lurkers-in-common : )
I second the "Good luck to everyone"

-Elizabeth

Hehe, I may be. ;)

Good luck to everyone waiting for their ED letters!

Good luck to all my fellow ED-ers!
Hopefully all our envelopes will say "This is the FAT one"

AMEN to that!!

:) You made my day, PlenaFidelis.

:)anytime!

twiddles her thumbs and whistles, heaves long, controlled breaths in anticipation of the hyperventilating that will most likely occur around mail-time tomorrow, and tries to cleanse herself and her mind of all college-decision-based notions.

It's not working.

Wish me luck on my Euro and Physics (the bane of my existence) exams tomorrow!
