When do deferred people get a decision?

Just to throw another bit of info out there, not sure if it has any value to anyone but you never know:

My friend applied (to the college of engi like I did) a day or so earlier than I... basically the same time when it's all said and done. I was deferred and then he was deferred right after me, within the week (this was somewhere around the February teens and 20's). I was accepted Friday, the ninth of March and he still hasn't heard back yet... so two people with very similar conditions have had different responses/ response times with respect to deferrals.

Another friend of mine applied late November but didn't get his Rec in until early JANUARY... not sure if that affected his "timeframe", but he hasn't heard back from them at all. Not even a deferral... He applied LSA with preferred admit for Ross.

Anyway... just some data for you guys to play with,
Ry

Deferred in Feb...bleh. I'm OSS though, so whatever. If I don't get into Michigan, I'm content going to UCONN. Oh..and..Defferals Unite!

Soccer guy it's crazy how UConn put me on the waiting list, but I got into Mich......I'm still wondering about that one.

lol nice they prob saw that yours stats were too good to want to go there and know you want it for safety.

These college admissions office....they're just crazy.

It's ridiculous. I mean my GPA for UConn would be lower than it would be for UMich because my freshman year was horrible. My UMich GPA would be 3.5+ (I have no idea how to calculate GPA or these scales because my school just gave raw numbers). However...I was still in their GPA range and my SAT score was way above their average........I was shocked. Honestly I put more time and effort into UMich's application than any other school I applied to. If I would have gotten that decision before UMich's I would have fainted..and been like "if I can't get into UConn forget UMich". UConn is a good school though soccer guy and is New England's best public university in my opinion.

non-chalant do u live in ct?

No I'm from Providence, RI.

Hi. I was just wondering what my chances are. This is definetly by # 1 school..

g2g--you got deferred?? ..........I'm in big trouble. Which school will you attend if you dont get into mich?

Yeah well i applied in early january so thats a reason and im also asian which may have something to do with it..If i dont go to umich its either U of I, or UW-Madison..Im sure your stats are more then qualified for umich do you mind posting them?

this is so ridiculous why cant they just set like end of march as the last date. i mean i'm sure other schools get more apps, plus umich prob even has an advantage in that they're getting applications all throughout the year so they had time to finish alot of them already.
