Mansoura, it seems like you have a good chance - i applied mid-nov and haven't received anything yet...so don't panic. one of my friends applied early sept and someone who applied after i did got her letter before the person who applied early sept...sorry if that was confusing, but basically, the letters are verrrrry random...so i would wait until mid-jan and see if anything pops up.

Ladance - i would send the scores in...it can't hurt.

Did anyone get a firm denial? My s applied EA as his reach and is so anxious. He is under the impression that they are accepting according to majors. He wants a somewhat obscure one so maybe he'll get lucky....

My D was accepted last week as an English major. She's OOS, SAT 1230/1920, GPA about a 90 (her school does it weird so doesn't exactly translate). For anyone reading this thread next year; I don't think the order in which acceptances were sent out means anything; kids with lower stats got in before her and kids with higher stats got in after with merit awards. UConn absolutely her #1 but unfortunately may have to go to her own state U due to finances : ( Congrats to those who got in!

I was accepted about one week ago to the Honor's Program and received about a half tuition scholarship (I don't find out about the full scholarship for a few months).
