When do early action acceptances arrive?

Or deferrals/rejections, for that matter. The website says "by Christmas", just wondering if it could be sooner. Daughter heard that someone in FL already got in, but maybe that was a recruited athlete? Don't know...

Admissions says the letters will go out the early part of next week

Okay, thanks! I wonder if merit aid scholarships are included in the acceptance letters, if applicable? Any ideas?

They sent out acceptances on December 22nd. I got mine on the 23rd.

D got hers today. She's in, but no merit aid. Does anyone know if it comes at the same time as the acceptances?

EHh I don't know either. I hope not. I would be upset if I received 0 merit aid. That other poster claims to have gotten a scholarship. :(

We received the acceptance and the scholarship notice together.( Fellow)

Hey, does anyone know the facebook group for the class of 2011?

wonderful, i got no merit aid or scholarships to Fairfield. Thank you Fairfield.... All the more reason for me not to attend. Are you sure they come together?

NDJake, it looks like it. What a bummer.

Cry some more please.

Not getting merit aid, when your stats are good is something to cry about especially when your parents don't make a lot of money.....40k+ a year is expensive. So quit being an *******.

Maybe you should take another year for high school to grow up.

perhaps you should take another year of special ed to figure out that college is expensive, hence you take any $$ you can get. This is why I won't be attending Fairfield...

If you can't get merit aid at Fairfield what makes you think you'll get any at Notre Dame or any other prestigious schools. I hope you applied to your local State U. It's not anybody's fault on this board that you didn't get merit aid but yourself so grow up and move on.

Um, I only commented when the above poster was extremely rude. Who says my stats are not good enough? If I got into these other great schools better than Fairfield and got merit aid, why is Fairfield not giving any? That's why my question was. If you think I need to grow, then you have serious problems. The previous poster was rude and he deserved that reply. End of discussion.

Fairfield stats compare to RPI, but bot are not as difficult as Notre Dame's.

College RPI Fairfield ND
Admit% 78% 61% 32%
SAT's
Verbal 580-690 540-630 630-730
Math 640-730 550-640 660-740
ACT 24-28 23-27 30-33

That has nothing to do with anything. ND doesn't like to give any merit aid, but gives good financial aid. It is weird how RPI is giving me good merit aid, but Fairfield is giving me jack. Oh well. I like RPI better anyways. Good luck to you guys hopefully your acceptances came with a merit package.

for anyone who got an acceptance how did you hear back? I recieved Fordham’s email before an acceptance letter in the mail . Thanks
