I'm applying EA to a few schools and the soonest deadline is Nov. 1. Then I remembered about transcripts. Do they need to be sent out before the deadline of EA? Or just postmarked? Or is it specific to school?

I looked up the Boston College's transcript information as well as Bentley University's and both don't specifically say when the transcript needs to be in. I am so lost!

On top of everything, my high school has fall break next week and I don't think the teachers work either...and my school can't send transcripts electronically either. Fantastic. Too bad I have no one to blame but myself

Your school, most likely, handles applications for many Early action/Early Decision kids every year. They know what to do. Trust them. You have nothing to do with sending transcripts – it’s not your responsibility.

Yes, I agree with T26E4, assuming though that you let your school know you are applying EA to these schools. At my D’s school they had to let them know by a log in sheet 15 school days prior to the deadline.

Alright that’s good. But if my transcript is sent in after the deadline, do you think they will automatically not review my application? Or maybe they’ll just defer me to regular decision?

Ok that makes me feel a lot better. I thought I was on top of things and then remembered transcripts haha. Thank you so much T26E4, and westie22 also!
