When do I send my transcripts for Cal State and UCs?

<p>When do I send my transcripts for Cal State and UCs?</p>

<p>I asked my friends about this and some say it's due sometime in March and others say I don't have to send my transcripts at all. On the UC Application website it says I have to send them before July. Is it the same for Cal State? Should I send my transcripts now or is it too early?</p>

<p>For the UCs, I think you’ll only need to send them in after they tell you whether or not you’ve been admitted. Not sure about Cal State though, sorry.</p>

<p>You should have some sort of portal access for your application for each Cal State or UC that you applied to. If you are a Freshman applicant, you will not need to send one until the specific university requests it. For Cal States, they often request 7th semester transcripts or simply your final high school transcript. UC’s generally request only your final transcript after you’ve been accepted. It is your responsibility, however, to keep up to date on your application status - through your portal.</p>
