When do I send SAT (and AP) scores to colleges?

<p>First you can send the scores either before or after but make sure you send it by the application deadline. </p>

<p>AP scores are optional to send to colleges.</p>

<p>Don’t pay to send AP scores to colleges you are applying to - just self-report them if you want to. Once you are accepted and matriculate, then you pay to send your APs to the college you are attending. Send them in the summer to ensure that you get the proper placement (if your school uses them for placement) and that you get college credit (for the schools and departments that give credit.)</p>
