Hi guys! I'm a freshman applicant for 2014 and I submitted my application by Dec 1st. I do have some questions though...

1.) If i sent in an unofficial score report with a 32 ACT but i retook the ACT in December and i feel i might have done better on that one, should i send in the official score report for the 32? or should i wait until the next score comes back on December 27th? Will it be too late?

2.) is a 32 ACT extremely competitive for admission? what about scholarships? i have a 3.5/4 unweighted GPA...

Thank you guys for all your help and support! Good luck fellow applicants!

1.) As long as they have your unofficial report, they will use that to consider your application. At some point they will need an official score report to verify your score.

The December 27th score will be in plenty of time for admission, and some callers to admissions have said that admissions unofficially told them the Dec SAT and ACT dates will be considered for scholarships, but there is no official statement about that on the website.

For the SAT, the easiest thing is to just have the December scores automatically sent without score choice and they all go - you wouldn’t have to worry about which was higher. With the ACT you have to order each report separately… I think your plan to see the Dec. scores and then send the highest scores is the best since you have already provided the unofficial score.
