When do I send the HS Transcript?

I am applying to colleges as a freshmen, and all of them require me to send the transcripts.

However, they don't have the deadline to send them in, so I am not sure to

send the transcript with the application, or if they are going to contact me

regarding when to send the transcript.

The colleges that I am going to send the applications are:

University of Pacific
University of Southern California
University of California
New York University
Case Western Reserve U.

They will not contact you separately, the transcript is usually sent along with the GC LOR.

For the UCs, you do not send transcripts. You will self-report your academic record on your application, and if you are admitted, they will verify all classes and grades after you graduate from high school.

For USC, if you have received your bar-code labels from doing the part 1 application ( <a href="https://camel2.usc.edu/AdmOnlineApplication/%5B/url%5D">https://camel2.usc.edu/AdmOnlineApplication/</a> ), you can take the "Transcript Request Form" to your school registrar ( <a href="http://www.usc.edu/admission/undergraduate/private/0910/Form7.pdf%5B/url%5D">http://www.usc.edu/admission/undergraduate/private/0910/Form7.pdf</a> ) with the barcode attached (or print your USC ID# if you don't have labels) and ask them to send it. The deadline for scholarship consideration is December 1st, so try to get all materials in by that date.

I am not familiar with the policies of the other listed schools.

You do not send the high school transcript at all (for schools that require it). Your high school sends the transcript. It must be an official one, not the one that you get each quarter or semester, so that the colleges know that it hasn't been altered.

Your guidance office should know the procedure. Talk to them.
