when do i start getting ready for my SAT?

i will take the SAT in may 5.. about 3 weeks from now... i havent started to study yet... i was planing to start this week.. i bought the oficial SAT study guide and plan to do all the practice tests... ive been told that i sould have started much earlier.. is that true.. is it too late to study.. should i have began earlier... i just want to know how much time before the test sould you begin to study

When you enter school. Everything you learn about reading, writing, thinking, calculating, interpreting and analyzing during class can help with the SAT. Outside reading, books, magazines and newspapers, crossword puzzles, carefully editing your ecorrespondence, all will prepare you for the SAT.

Anything you do now should be in the way of review and getting your "brain muscles" into shape for the timing and nature of the questions.

I think that by studying 1 or 2 months before you will be O.K. Since you are already behind, you should start studying as soon as possible. Doing the practice questions on all the sections will definitely help you. If I was you, I wouldn't loose more time and begin studying right now!!

One you study for the essay by 11th, by doin this you will get a good score, and you will have more chances to get a good score.

if your planning on taking the sat again after this one then theres no need to study so hard now. its really difficult to raise your score in a month. raising your score takes months to two years. you should have started sophmore-junior year.
