When do our acceptance packets arrive?

Hi everyone! I’m just curious… see some of you next year!!

I wanna know too! I kinda need mine to put on the fridge of fame…

Mine arrived today. I loved how personalized it was! :)

<3 Brown.

Mine arrived today as well. :)

Was it USPS?

suitcases, wasn’t reading that letter simply a delight? :)

I can’t believe I’m saying this but, Brown just went to the top of my list just because of that letter! I am absolutely humbled by the amount of attention they paid to my application.

Again, lol, was it USPS or UPS?

shauna, I’m sorry I didn’t see your question.

My mom opened it and received it for me. I just saw the Brown folder on my Coffee table 10 minutes ago and jumped towards it. :D

Lol Don’t worry. It’s cool. I just didn’t want my question to be hidden, so I rewrote it to bump the post up. But, okie dokie.

I hope mine comes today! If I were Brown, I would totally use UPS. What can Brown do for you?

Biref highjack intermission: Brown has this reputation of being highly populated with “weird” kids. Like, it’s what comes to mind, in the same way that “preppy frat jock” comes to mind with Duke or “science nerd” with MIT. What happens at Brown for it to have acquired that reputation?

^ We’re [prospective] Pre-frosh. How would we know?

I think the word usually used to describe Brown students is quirky, which has different connotations than weird. I like quirky :P

Well I’m preppy. I guess I’m not a good match for “weird” Brown then… :(

/sarcasm

Mine arrived today. The folder is seriously brown aha. It also comes with this certificate that you have been admitted. It is perfect for people with mothers who love to decorate the fridge aha :).

^heheheh AHHH i can’t wait!!! I go to boarding school so my mom gets it and then she has to send it to me… oh well I suppose a few days wont kill me, right? :)

Aww, my letter wasn’t personalized, although I did receive notice of being selected as a National Scholar (which is awesome and unexpected, whatever it means). The brown envelope still looks like chocolate. Gorgeous.

Oh so only some people’s letters are personalized? oh well

For those that did receive packets today what states are you in?

@impetuous- might be a regional admissions director thing, or maybe Brown doth not love me enough. </3
