When do schools in Washington state (WA) get PSAT results back?

Is it likely that they will be received on or before Friday, December 3rd? I am especially anxious and I must know how likely it is for my school to get the scores in the upcoming week. (My guidance counselors hand them out right after getting them, I believe.)

If it is relevant, I am in Western Washington.

I teach in Oregon. Our counselor always seems to distribute them by the time break starts. Not sure I could guarantee they’d be back by the end of the coming week, but imagine our students will have them by the 17th.

As far as I know PSAT results all come out at the same time, sometime mid December.

Last year - they arrived early - right before Thanksgiving - which was really early. Here in Maryland - our hs is planning on handing them back on December 17th. So, the best I can tell you is any day now.

We were told by our guidance counselor that PSAT scores would be out the second week in December.

HSs (including my son’s) often hang onto them and then distribute them at a program they conduct for juniors and their parents in order to discuss their significance. I contacted my son’s guidance counselor and asked if she could get them to us as soon as they arrive, since we may plan a couple out-of-state visits for the first week of January to schools with big NMF scholarships if NMF status appears likely. She agreed to contact us when she gets them.

Our high school (in Ohio) has planned a PSAT event for Dec. 9th, to distribute scores and discuss results – with the caveat that College Board has not 100% guaranteed that the school will have the scores by the 9th! :)

Our HS, in TX, has received the scores already but has not released them to the students. We know this because they pulled the sophomores who scored in NMSF range out of 2 periods last week to give them extra help/pep talk for next years test (which seems very premature to me). They did mention that all of the top scorers scored better on math than language, which surprised my son who usually does the reverse on standardized tests. They are planning to release the scores next week.

i live in western washington.
and last years the counselors received ours the week before break and handed them out the day before break started

Our guidance director (we’re in Virginia) expects to have the scores around Dec. 8.

We are in Washington. When my son took the PSAT–two years ago–the counselors did not release the scores until the END of the last week in January! I am still mad about it and starting to wonder how I can have my daughter take the PSAT next year and have the results released to her, rather than to the government.  Any ideas?

*I am especially anxious and I must know how likely it is for my school to get the scores in the upcoming week. *

Why so anxious? are you in 10th or 11th grade?
You are guaranteed to get them before break-( practically)
Unless it snows again.
