My proctor said that they woud be mailed in 5-8 weeks, but what about online? I want to know when to start my countdown :)

June 24th
11 days.

I thought it was the 25th…

I was wrong… some come out the 24th and then others come out on Wednesdays and Fridays until the last ones are out by August 7th… and I’m sure if you made a mistake on your sheet, they may be delayed. I would expect them on the 24th or at least by that next Friday. Everyone I know gets them right away or at least by the second release date.

This is from the ACT Website:
After you test, you can check to see if your scores are available online. Multiple-choice scores from this test date will be first posted online beginning June 24 through August 7, 2009.

If your scores are not available on the first date listed above, plan to check back weekly up through the last date listed. Scores are processed and added each week, usually each Wednesday and Friday. Normally, all scores are reported by 8 weeks after the test date. (See examples of why some scores take longer). There is no option for speeding the processing of scores.

If you take the ACT Plus Writing, your Writing scores will be posted as soon as they are ready, normally about 2 weeks after your multiple-choice scores. Your scores cannot be reported until after your Writing scores have been added.

Score reports are usually mailed within 3 to 8 weeks after the test date. (Please allow an additional 1 to 2 weeks if you test in a country other than the U.S. or Canada.)

24th is the first round

12 AM Central time I think

I’m confused though. The ACT website says that scores for the ACT w/ Writing cannot be reported until the essay has been scored. Doesn’t that mean we need to wait a few more weeks to get even ou multiple choice?

sorry if this is an obvious question lol I’ve never taken the ACT before so I dont know how reporting works

Yea bubblegnome I am under the same impression after reading that (1st timer too). I dont mind that much as my SATs scores will hold me over.

haha yeah damn test scorers! Patience is not my greatest virtue lol

act is 24th, sat is 25th,right?

The scores won’t be reported to any colleges that you sent them to until the writing scores come up, but you’ll be able to get your composite score before you get your writing score.

Yep it’s just they wont get REPORTED before the writing score is finished. You can find out your composite and subscores before then, though. That’s how it was last time I took the test, anyway…

^ Yes. That is correct. Multiple choice scores are released at the same time regardless of whether or not you took the writing, but writing scores are released later and the score reports are sent to colleges later if you took the writing portion.

My proctor collected all the admissions tickets, and we were unable to bubble in our registration number…He said it wouldn’t delay our scores.
I’m ****ed.

^ what? dang, so all of you guys left that info blank? wow, that guy should never be a proctor again.

the first round of ACT scores come out on my birthday, HAHAHA.
terrific.

Yeah everyone left it blank. The dude kept saying he always does that blah blah blah, some people in the class got really mad.
We had 2 proctors that stayed there the entire time, the girl looked like she wanted to say something but didn’t. I’m just a little annoyed, I wanted scores back before i had to resigster again

If you know the hack, it is possible you may find out your score before the 24th.

Again,

that is IF you know the hack.

MUAHAHAHAHAHAHA

^ Honestly, I doubt “the hack” will give you your scores all that much earlier than the 24th considering the amount of time that it takes to score each test and the fact that “the hack” is so well publicized.

I thought the ACT fixed “the hack” anyways…

Yeah, the ACT fixed whatever glitch there was and “the hack” no longer works.

lol

I figured they had since you guys weren’t going on and on about “the hack”.
