I'm taking AP Bio on Monday and forgot to ask the teachers, since I'm not taking the AP class at my school. The Collegeboard website says "Morning - 8 A.M." I'm guessing this means 8 AM start time, but do schools generally adhere strictly to the schedule? What is the procedure at everyone's schools?

edit: also, do you use a pen or pencil for the essay part?

we went to the library at 8am, and it took them half an hour to do the bubbling part. we started at 8:32 am. i don't know about bio, but for lit we used a pen on the essay. Just bring both and ask them on monday.

My school we get to the room at 7:30, go through the instructions for 30 minutes and then put the pencils to the paper at 8 AM on the dot. AP rules state that the exam has to start between 8 and 9 AM

I'm the only kid at my school taking the exams for Psych and Comp Gov. My counselor just told me to go to her office at the time specified (12pm) and then we went right into it since our school had a "pre-bubbling" session.

I usually bring like 3 #2 pencils and 2 black pens to my all my AP tests.

Why don't you just go in and ask the AP proctor what you should do? (My school made it easy for the AP kids, they handed out the schedule and procedures like 2 weeks in advance).
