when can i expect the first answers? which places answers a bit earlier than april 1st? do they all notifiy by email cause i live abroad so dont want to wait 2 weeks for the mail to come?

<p>Check the archived boards from last year for the colleges to which you applied.</p>
<p>if u are accepted they will send their acceptance letter by DHL/FedEx so u will get it in two days, if you are rejected or deferred they'll send it by regural mail. Not all colleges notify by e-mail. sorry.</p>
<p>Many colleges send their acceptance letters by regular mail, often in large or at least thick envelopes; neither of my children ever received an acceptance letter by anything other than US Postal Service (but we are in the U.S.; I imagine it may be different for international applicants). Notification dates may vary by a few days each year, but anytime from March 25 on should be prime time (and there will be some that go out earlier).</p>
<p>yeah i dont think they all mail out acceptances by fedex/ups/dhl... in my case i got into UM got letter regular mail got it about 1 month after date on the letter so i dont want to wait till may to find out ....</p>
