When do they really start reading applications

Do to a confusion with my application, my information is being updated in ther computers. Basically I switched from applying to Wharton to the regular college, and sent them a letter that they never recorded. I faxed a new letter and the previous letter that I sent in October, and they said that I would be fine, but it would take a little while for the computer to update my information and to call back near the end of the week.

So logically, I’m sweating it because what if they start reading applications now, am I going to be read last, or maybe after they have accepted everyone due to my changes? I’m pretty sure I won’t be, considering I heard the date to get the interview information in is today (Nov 15th), and they need that to make their decisions.

But it would just make me feel a lot better, does anyone know for sure when Penn starts actually reading their applications. Thanks.

The Penn people start going into Committees after/around Thanksgiving I think....so, eh. I think the deadline you are talking of about Interviews is wrong. They do it by regions. For example, I know in my state, the interviews have just started. Have to finish by the beginning of next week though or something.

yea i just got my interview today..i scheduled it for thursday...

i think they start off interviews with feeder states/areas. (penn.; ny; cali. ...etc)

when do they read apps?

NEVER. They put everyones name in a hat and pick out names. Thats why it seems so random.

wow. that's ingenius chocoman. you've cracked the college admissions process.
