For those of you who got in early last year...

Do they just send out the letters on the 15th, and then you have to wait to get it?

Do they post the decision online in any way?

just curious :X

I called Wesleyan Admissions Office today. They said the letters are mailed on the 15th. They said there is no on-line place to see your status. They also would not say it was ok to call them early and ask.

Don't worry, you'll get the letter soon enough.

Hi, I called again yesterday (shoot me now) and got a different answer. Maybe everybody at the admissions office has a different story. Anyway, this person told me the letters will be mailed on the 13th. They expect them to arrive on the 15th. If you have not received your letter by the 16th, you can call.

Cedronella, I am also a mom of a daughter who applied ED to Wes. I hope that we are all happy next Wednesday! I really appreciate your updates. My stress level is higher than hers right now...d is totally consumed with homework (a 15 page AP AH paper due) and no time to take action on the other colleges on her list. But she needs to work on some other essays this weekend (one college has a pre-app with essay due 12/15) Hang in there.

The people who answer the phones at admissions are just students on work-study jobs. When the letters are mailed usually has to do with how far away you live from CT, when all the decisions are actually done, when they can get people in there to stuff envelopes, etc. It's hard to predict, but don't worry, you'll get it.

Oh, sigh. Easy for you to say, xmatt :P

I'm waiting in nervous anticipation. Guess I'll see what happens soon. ;D
