Hey guys, simple question about fall registration. Thanks

When its your orientation. Basically you’re going to get the worst classes.

^Not necessarily true. You do register during your orientation (mine was on May 16th of last year) but I had no trouble getting into the classes I wanted. You should definitely come up with a few backup classes in case you don’t get your first choice on some, but don’t go into the course selection process assuming you won’t get any classes you want. Besides, if you write a polite email to your professor requesting an override into a full class you really want, they’ll usually oblige.

^Let me put it this way instead, compared to other UM juniors and sophomores, you’re going to get the worst pick of classes because you are picking with freshmen.

ffffuuuuuu yeah I got the orientation email yesterday shortly after I posted this. I’ll be registering in May so hopefully I’ll get somewhat of a head start on the freshmen.
