<p>When do we get notification about our Finalist status for National Merit? </p>
<p>Also, I have a 3.8/3.9 (not sure), a 2220 SAT...should I be worried? (If that's a stupid question, I apologize...will the lack of a 4.0 hurt me?)</p>
<p>I heard it should be next week or the week after (around 2/1).
Don't worry at all about your grades/scores. They're plenty good enough. As long as you turned in the paperwork on time last fall, you should be in.</p>
<p>Letters are supposed to be mailed on February 8th. Schools will be notified a bit earlier.</p>

<p>Alright, I'm a little worried about my status. Thanks to the counseling staff at my school, I didn't know that my SAT scores hadn't been received until the day they were due (January 9th). I rushed a score report, but it wasn't sent out until a day or two after the deadline had passed. Am I going to be okay?</p>
