When do we find out if we are accepted into MT?

M's rejection did not even mention the MT program, just a general RD rejection.
Cindy013, yes we were there 12/2, so you should hear any minute too...I notice that the email was sent at 8:35 AM today (Sat.) Plus the same letter just came in the mail today too.

I hate this waiting!!! the suspense is killing me! I'm not really expecting an acceptance though, because I messed up on my uptempo...but hey ya never no

I'm hearing from people privately who got both acceptances and rejections via email today from Syracuse. Last year it wasn't even by email. I imagine there are so many to get out that they can't all be sent at one time.

I keep checking my email and nothing... but the mailman's truck is parked outside so I'm guessing we'll be getting the mail within the hour....ahh!

I did the 12/2 audition regular decision as well. I still haven't gotten an email either. So if they send them if you get in and if you don't get in, that must mean that if you don't get an e-mail... you don't exist...? lol jk, but I don't know what to make of it... The mail should be here really soon...

I can't believe it BB88, we should have carpooled!

LOL the irony continues ;)

We actually got made a 3 day audition tour that weekend- Syracuse on Friday, Ithaca on Saturday, and Emerson on Sunday. It was crazy.

I did the Syracuse on Friday and Ithaca on Saturday thing too:)

Ok, so the mail just came and nothing from Syracuse. No e-mail yet either. Hmmm.

No news is good news ladies...Take it from one that is WILLING to POST what ever that news may be. :P

Well at least I'm not the only one who doesn't exist... lol.

I hate this waiting thing :(

Mmmmm a though! There had been a confusion with my application (they said they didn't get my mid-year grades), but my guidence counselor cleared it up. Did your application have any issues?

is it a good sign we havent heard yet? I honestly didnt do a very good audition at SU, so I am expecting a rejection...we'll see soon i suppose!!! until than, I'll try and be optimistic!!

I don't think there was anything missing from my application. However, I did submit corrections on my FAFSA about 2 or 3 weeks ago, so maybe that's taking longer because they had to re-do my financial aid stuff? Also, I checked off that I would be interested in another major just for the heck of it, so maybe I have to get approved for that if I didn't get in for mt or acting? Who knows:P

I don't think it's a good sign or a bad sign per se. And I get the mail arrives at all different times due to a lot of different factors. I don't get why we didn't get email though, when both people who got in and people who didn't get in did...

That makes three who don't exist!

We should have a not-existing party!

LOL most definately ;)

I think there are 4 of us, actually. I feel so much better about getting nothing knowing I'm not the only one.

Cindy, I don't think financial aid would hold up admissions. Last year, my D received three different mailings (at least) from Syracuse. One was the acceptance. Another one came later about being selected for the Honors College. The scholarship letter was a totally different mailing. They were not all at once. The admissions decision is what came first. Last year there were no email notifications, however. I don't know why you guys didn't get the emails today but appears they did not all go out which is unfortunate. My feeling is that the snail mails may have gone out at one time but you are live in different places and letters don't arrive at destinations all at the same time. I doubt anything is holding yours up. It appears that you are not the only person waiting to hear. I would think if you don't hear Monday or Tuesday, you can call and ask when you should expect to hear as you are aware that decisions have gone out. The email thing does not seem to follow a pattern as I have now heard of a handful of acceptance emails but also some rejections. Keep the faith but remember to look at the whole picture of all of your schools. I know the wait is a very anxious time. Keep busy. It almost helps not to read too much about this or you'll drive yourself crazy!

when did u guys audition

And my daughter makes 5! She auditioned in NYC the first full weekend in January.

December 2, like the rest of you all.

I hate waiting!

I think the kids who auditioned in NYC (myself included) have not heard yet...dont quote me on that, but everyone who I've talked to who auditioned in NYC hasnt heard yet
