what did they say mllestephanie?

one of my absolute last choices: RVC single!!! let the all-girl, gossipy drama begin.

yeah, i have an interesting situation. i've been placed in temporary housing at RVC, but they told me that I will be transfered to one of my top choice residences. it's interesting because RVC wasn't that low on my list, but nonetheless if i can get upgraded, why not. i'm hoping this happens before i move in though...

gosh minerva. what a tease. i got that email too and nothing's up there.

gosh.. anti-climax. the answering machine says june 26. that's like next week!!

I got into New Rez - Double

Hey everybody... I just checked Minerva and my hall assignment is there... Douglas Single...

got mine...MORE Single...

Any idea why some of us were assigned "temporary" residences?

I was "temporarily assigned" to RVC..totally my last choice out of everything, but what are the actual chances of getting reassigned?

Douglas single too!!!

Rew rez double!! woot! my first chioce....hhahaha

i got temporary assigned to solin!...how soon do u think ill get reassigned? And does any1 knw about meal plans at solin?

hey guys.

i was temporarily assigned to RVC. when i talked with them on the phone they told me that i had gotten a high lottery number and that they were going to try to reassign me to one of my preferred choices after looking at all my information and housing forms. i also emailed the residence office to further inquire about the situation. they told me that i would definitely be reassigned and most likely before move-in. they told me that if i did happen to move-in and liked it there/was settled, i could most likely just stay. in any event, it's pretty certain we will be reassigned - it's just a matter of when. they say it should happen before move-in, but there is always that possibility of someone having to actually move into their temporary rez.

someone also asked about meal services/meal cards for solin. here's the site. http://www.mcgill.ca/residences/undergraduate/food/

yey!! solin single! wooot, my first choice! it's all on minerva now for anybody else like me who really wasnt fussed enough to bother calling. :)

and for the question about meal plans at solin. as far as im aware there are none. you'll be sharing a kitchen between two or three of your flatmates. however, i do remember hearing something about being able to purchase meal plans at other halls. thats probably not very practical though. really once you get used to cooking you'll find it's very easy to make most things.x
