I remember for early, some admissions kid said something about rolling as well.

I wouldn't want to get accepted/rejected via my computer screen.

well, maybe accepted, but it's not worth the risk...

It's not rolling.

Same here, indiejimmy. :( And I'm probably going to get rejected.

Yeah, I'm almost positive that Ivy notification is March 31.

yes, i've checked other ivy websites and they say March 31. That's a monday. I was hoping we would find out on the previous friday but i guess we'll all have to 'enjoy' our weekends while we wait for monday, lol.

Hopefully I won't sleep that night (but because of excitement, not because of sadness!)

It drives me insane to think that we are going to get all our decisions during a period of about 3 days. Ugh.

are they all going to be in a period of three days? It seems the ivies are the only ones that have given concrete dates - march 31. A lot of the LACs have said the last week of march/first week of april but no specific date yet.

How do you guys that applied to more than one ivy check your decisions? Which one do you check first? Your first choice? Your last choice? The one where you most likely got in? Do you do it in alphabetical order, random order, or what? I know it's a strange question but I've been wondering about this since a couple of days and I have no idea what I'm gonna do. Ideas please!

Decisions will all come out on the same day, but will it be the same time? Because I know Brown said they'll be posted at 5 PM local time, wherever you live. I doubt all the Ivies are doing that.

And also, even if they're all supposed to come out at the same instant, they probably won't, so I'll probably be refreshing them all in sequence :D

This year, Dartmouth's ED decision came out 10-20 mins before the stated time.

Dr. Avrah-

I'm checking Dartmouth first, if I get in I won't even bother opening the rest until the excitement wears off in a few days haha. If I don't then I'll check each one in order of preference or which ones come first.

Does anyone know what time Dartmouth is going to start posting decision on the website on March 31st?

I'm sure they'll let you know, but I'd say 3 wouldn't be a bad guess.

I'm gonna guess 5 PM eastern time.

I think most Ivies send the decisions out at about the same time. A genius friend of mine said that 4 minutes after he learned that he had gotten into Yale, he learned that he had gotten into Princeton as well.
My guess would be 5pm EST as well. This makes midnight where I live:(.

Wow, mysterious, that is such a bummer! If you get in you aren't going to be able to sleep the whole night! :)

Oh, I wouldn't complain about not sleeping at all, if I get in. The truth is, I might not be able to sleep the next night as well:)
But if the contrary happens..:( (which is a much greater probability) I don't know what would happen.

yeah, that would be 11pm where i live :( I hope I'm given a reason to celebrate though - it wouldn't be easy to fall asleep and then wake up for school the next morning if I don't get into any of my favourite schools :(
