So is this something everyone has?

knitpicker, does yours read the same?

Well nobody’s come out to say they DON’T have it… Maybe we should ask someone who received a likely letter this year what their link is.

If one person would honestly say they didn’t have it I’d be much more apt to believe it’s good. I WANT to believe it’s a sign, but I didn’t get a likely letter and my stats are not as great as many people here.

Matriculation is enrollment, so pre matriculation is “Before enrollment”, and Dartmouth’s website mentions prematriculation immunization requirements…

However, we might be overthinking this. I have a friend who applied ED and was denied but I think it would be really insensitive to ask him what his account says. I can’t tell and I don’t want to get my hopes up, so I’m going to be a pessimist unless evidence to the contrary is presented.

coopjust, i was deferred so my chances are slim to none and i have it. someone on this board with really bad stats and no hooks has to check but who is gonna volunteer for that?

i have pretty bad stats (for dmouth) and i have it-- i wouldnt get your hopes up

I have it too… it’s unlikely that we’re all getting in.

That’s unfortunate… I was really hoping it was a good sign.

knitpicker, why would you wanna know if a likely had this link?
If a likely has that link and you do not then it means something, right?
I, having the link, want to know if someone who is UNLIKELY doesn’t have it.
What you are looking for implies strongly to me that you do not have it and if that is the case, why would you not be kind and just tell us???
ANd 5757, you are more likely than slim to none, keep hope.

Thank you, Annie and Tickitytock, for the perspective!

annie222, a 2160 out of 2400 is not “bad” by any measurement. Your stats from previous posts look pretty good actually. It’s always a reach at an ivy, but still…

eaglet, we have to be easy and not be jumping down people’s throats, however…

knitpicker, your posts do seem somewhat evasive. Please be honest and tell us. If you don’t have that link, please tell us what you do have.

I was hoping it was a good sign to but it points much more to the “nothing” category than the “admitted” category.

…and when did I jump down someone’s throat???
If you are in the business of admonishing posters, Coopjust, try knitpicker’s sarcasm about pessimism a few posts back.
Ya, I agree though, it likely means nothing more than the fact that we are all in a final file ready to be notified.
See y’all on the results page…

ehh…I have it too. sorry to shoot your dreams but I doubt it means anything. I have pretty bad stats yet I still have prematricmenu in my url.

I have a 1270/1860 SAT. I was deferred from ED.

This means nothing.

That’s pretty mean of you guys…I wasn’t being evasive. I was responding to citygirl and it so happened I was responding when eaglet was so I didn’t see that question. And yea I have it too.

Wait…that prematricmenu means nothing, right? Sometimes, I think I’d be better off if I didn’t have CC to point out all the subtle nuances of college website URL’s and such mundane things =/

agreed, I’d definitely be better off if I went outside and played or something.

I’ve got it too and doubt I will get in

I have it too…I mostly likely got rejected b/c I blew off the interview (long story)

what is the prematricmenu?

I was deferred ED. Has anyone else who was deferred received any correspondence since December?

The prematric menu is something you get once you are accepted and the issue here is that one of us noticed our url on our app status page has changed to say “prematricmenu” at the end of the string, even though it is apparently still hidden (read previous posts/Coopjust found it). It looks like we all have it though, and those accepted will prob. just have the hide-code removed when they hit the button next Monday. D seems too together computer-wise to make sloppy mistakes the way a lot of other schools seem to do, that allow applicants to kinda know in advance. Oh well, we’ll know soon enough, right?
