It sounds like a trustable source.... Hmm.... 20th...... Crap, thats hardly a few days away. But wont they have put up something on the webpage if it was to be released then?

omgomgomg...so technically 3 days from now...WOW

Any ideas why this says April 15th for NU?

If its actually three days from now, wouldn't they have sent us an email this week with instructions for checking our decisions? Or at least an email letting us know when the date is?

Kristina, because that list is made by a student who is looking up the dates on websites, just like us. He/she read "early april" on NU's site and just wrote that down.

im so glad were gonna know our decision on the 20th. One more thing, at what time will they be put up on the website? any guesses on that? or anyone know what time were they put up last year?

So does anyone have confimation that it WILL be the 20th?

Seems fishy, especially when considering recent years.

I don't trust any CC posts. Any ACTUAL info, like from the NW site? :P

There was an article from the Chicago Sun-Times that quotes Mike Mills about the March 20th date, but it still seems unlikely with the influx of applicants.

someone could call?
I wish I had the guts to. haha

Actually, when people call the admissions office, they're MOSTLY told the date which has been listed on the website, etc...

its because at one point that is what NU wrote on an email they sent us. That thread should probably be updated now that NU has posted different info.

i hate to be pessimistic here yall but i received an email from syracuse saying i got in last friday (march 14th) but it was marked march 7th. Something tells me that they may send everything out on the 20th but we still wont know until the 31st or so. I hope I'm wrong though.

it doesn't take 10 days for a letter to reach its destination.

I don't really understand what you're trying to say about e-mails, either; they're instantaneous.

i called the nu office earlier today and they said between late march and the first week of april.

very helpful.

yeah that sounds the likeliest but it still leaves a lot of wiggle room

lol.....the fact they said late march.....yea....all i wanted to hear...maybe late march for acceptances and early april for rejections?

what i meant is that the letter itself that they sent me in the email (and was also included in the regular mail) was dated march 7th on the top but was not physically sent out until the 14th. So maybe they make their decisions on one day (say march 20th) and date all the but dont officially hit the send button until later. It doesn't make sense to me either, but that's the way Syracuse did it.
